Robert Egizio
Producing Artistic Director
As a director and choreographer, Robert has been involved with numerous theater companies in the Atlanta area. He served as choreographer in residence for Actors Express under Chris Coleman, choreographed the Atlanta Opera Company's production of La Boheme, and has worked with ART Station, the Aurora Theatre, Neighborhood Playhouse, Gainesville Theater Alliance, Georgia Perimeter College, The Savoyards, and Onstage Atlanta, where his production of The Rocky Horror Show won awards for direction, choreography and Best Show of the Season.
As an actor, his credits include performances locally, nationally and on tour, and is an individual member of the Theatre Communications Group, the Drama League, and the Atlanta Coalition of Performing Arts.
Robert's first involvement with Stage Door Players came in 2003, when he was hired to direct Dames At Sea. He returned the following season to direct and choreograph Ain't Misbehavin' which would go on to win the Woodie Award for Best Show of the Year. Due to the success of that show, Robert was brought on as the new Artistic Director. Over the course of the next two seasons, Stage Door made the transition from a community theater group, to a fully professional company. During his tenure, Robert has introduced the Stage Door Canteen cabaret series and the theater program for children, Stage Door Jr. in addition to producing a six show main stage season. In 2005, Robert was hired as full-time Producing Artistic Director, and has brought Stage Door Players to a new level of recognition and brought new audiences to its doors.
Courtney Loner
Production Manager
Courtney is a graduate of Kennesaw State University where she studied Vocal Performance and Technical Theater. She has performed with many companies including Capitol City Opera, Neighborhood Playhouse, Onstage Atlanta, Stage Door Players, Savoyards Musical Theatre, and Cartersville Opera. Courtney has participated in vocal master-classes with such artists as Benton Hess, William Bolcom and Joan Morris and world-renowned mezzo-soprano, Frederica von Stade. In addition to performing, Courtney has stage managed, built and painted sets and propped shows at such theaters as Stage Door Players, Onstage Atlanta, Horizon Theatre, Santa Fe Opera, Alliance Theater, Georgia Shakespeare Theatre, and The Atlanta Opera.
After stage managing Stage Door’s 2002 production of I Hate Hamlet, she was offered the position of Production Manager. Courtney is proud to have been a part of the theater’s growth and prosperity.
Charles Welcome
Set Designer/Scenic Artist in Residence/Marketing
Chuck began his illustrious career at Stage Door Players in January 2003, as the Set Designer for Agatha Christies, The Mousetrap, and has been here ever since. In addition the being the Scenic Designer in residence in September of 2004, he began working as the theaters Marketing Director, to aid and support the efforts of recently hired Artistic Director, Robert Egizio.
Chuck has worked in theaters all over the Atlanta Metro area and his most recent works include the scenic design for the Southeast regional premiere of Ken Ludwig's new comedy Leading Ladies, as well as collaboration in conceiving an original holiday show Home for the Holidays, now in its third season! Currently working as Props Coordinator for the world professional premier of Disney's High School Musical, with Theater of the Stars. Chuck has a background in art, interior design and marketing, and his education in designing for the stage is an ongoing experience.
Dan Bauman
Sound Designer In Residence
Dan is a native New Yorker who came to Atlanta to attend The Atlanta Institute of Music in 1996. A bass player since the age of 14, Dan played with several groups around Atlanta while attending school. Upon graduation he immediately went out on the road with The Amazing Idiots, an 80’s show band who toured as far north as Princeton, New Jersey, and as far west as New Orleans, Louisiana. After leaving that band he played a gig with The Tim Acres band and never left. Changing the name to ACRES in 1999, the band continues to write and record music and has opened for such acts as Collective Soul, Jason Mraz, Pete Yorn, Tantric, Oleander, and Kansas.
In 2003, being a movie buff and self-professed sci-fi geek, Dan took a huge step out of his comfort zone to audition for a production The Rocky Horror Show. To his surprise he was offered the role of Riff Raff, and was introduced not only to the world of theatre, but to Robert, Linda, Chuck and Courtney. He was convinced to try his hand at Sound Design and again, never left. Dan handles all things audio for the theater which includes playing bass now and again.
Linda Uzelac
Music Director in Residence
Originally from New York, Linda has been resident Music Director for several production companies in New York and Connecticut for over 30 years. She has coordinated, accompanied, and orchestrated countless musical revues, cabarets, and major musical productions from community to off-Broadway. In addition to being Music Director in residence of Stage Door Players, she has directed and performed in such professional theaters as the Fox Theater of the Stars, Horizon Theatre, Actor's Express, Aurora, and Callaway Gardens.
In addition to numerous themes and supplemental songs for theatrical productions, Linda has composed twelve complete original scores (http://www.stagedoormusicals.com), all of which have been produced here and abroad. She has appeared as sole accompanist to dozens of renowned opera singers from Lincoln Center, and has been a solo concert performer as well. She has prepared soloists and choral groups from the Hartford Symphony to the Broadway stages. Linda was Music Director/Conductor/Pianist for the first in the series Broadway in the Burbs, starring Jodi Benson and other Broadway stars, and she has just completed the score for the film Valentine's Day, which premiered in Denver in September 2006. In addition to theatrical endeavors, Linda offers vocal coaching, notation and recording services in her home in Alpharetta.
John David Williams
Lighting Designer in Residence
JD is a native Georgian and Dunwoody resident proudly joining the Stage Door staff for the 2008-2009 season. He got his start designing lights at South Georgia College using equipment that looked like it was installed when the school was chartered in 1906 and is happy to be working with much newer controls and fixtures here.
Prior to joining the staff, JD has served as technical director for Galaxy Music Theater and lighting director for Neighborhood Playhouse. JD has also designed shows for Onstage Atlanta and Macon Little Theatre. He has received nine design awards over the last 18 years in Atlanta. His first design for Stage Door was for Wrong Turn at Lungfish. You may also recall his designs for The World Goes Round and Home for the Holidays. Other designs include Dream Girls and Smokey Joe's Cafe with Galaxy Music Theatre, Angels in America, K2 and Titanic (in concert) at Onstage Atlanta, Into the Woods and Singin’ in the Rain at Neighborhood Playhouse.
Also a percussionist, JD was last seen at SDP as the drummer for Pete 'n' Keely. He has been seen and heard performing throughout the Southeastern US in major malls, parades and wedding receptions from Charleston, SC to Jackson, MS with The Seed & Feed Marching Abominable. His left (or is it right) hand is featured prominently in episode FO1D23 of Food 911 on the Food Network.

Jim Redovian
Jim and his Wife Sherrill have been married 46 years and have been Dunwoody residents for thirty four years. They have six children and eleven grandchildren. Jim owns Atlantic southern Products, Inc., is a board member for the Dunwoody Homeowners Association and for the Cowart Family/Ashford Dunwoody YMCA. Jim is a deacon at Dunwoody Baptist Church, and works with the youth at both Dunwoody Baptist as well as Dunwoody United Methodist Church. Jim served four years on the DeKalb County Board of Education.

Dan Womack
Dan Womack has been a practicing accountant since 1975 and founded his certified public accounting firm, Womack & Company in 1988. He joined the board of Dunwoody Stage Door Players in 1989 and served as Treasurer from 1990 until 2006. His 2-year position as Board Chair begins in 2007. In addition to his business interests, Dan enjoys music and playing bass guitar. His band, Old Men in the Basement, play classic rock and roll of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and make occasional appearances around the Atlanta area.

Christy Baggett
Christy Baggett has been serving on the Board for Stage Door Players for the past three years. A Summa Cum Laude graduate in Accounting from Mississippi State University, Christy moved to Atlanta in the '90's and began her career at Arthur Andersen as a Staff Auditor while pursuing her love of theatre in her spare time. In fact, her first production in Atlanta was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Stage Door Players.
Christy has been nominated for a Suzi Bass Award for her ensemble work in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Godspell, and Ordinary Days as well as for her performance as Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray, and she won a Woodie Award for her performance in Hot 'n' Cole here at Stage Door. She is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and is represented by Houghton Talent. Her favorite role, however, is that of wife of Christian Baggett and proud stepmother to Virginia Ansley Baggett.

Marcie Millard
Marcie Millard serves as Chief Financial Officer for Souper Jenny and it's newest sibling, Cafe Jonah and the Magical Attic. After holding the position of General Manager at Souper Jenny for six years, Marcie is now pursuing a life path which combines business and creativity.
A graduate of Berry College with a BA in Theatre Performance and Management, Marcie is a professional actress and singer who has performed across the Southeast. She has been on the Stage Door stage many times over the years, including Master Class, where she brought the opera diva, Maria Callas, back to life in a Woodie Award winning performance.
