As a director and choreographer, Robert has been involved with numerous theater companies in the Atlanta area. He served as choreographer in residence for Actors Express under Chris Coleman, choreographed the Atlanta Opera Company's production of La Boheme, and has worked with ART Station, the Aurora Theatre, Neighborhood Playhouse, Gainesville Theater Alliance, Georgia Perimeter College, The Savoyards, and Onstage Atlanta, where his production of The Rocky Horror Show won awards for direction, choreography and Best Show of the Season.

As an actor, his credits include performances locally, nationally and on tour, and is an individual member of the Theatre Communications Group, the Drama League, and the Atlanta Coalition of Performing Arts.

Robert's first involvement with Stage Door Players came in 2003, when he was hired to direct Dames At Sea. He returned the following season to direct and choreograph Ain't Misbehavin' which would go on to win the Woodie Award for Best Show of the Year. Due to the success of that show, Robert was brought on as the new Artistic Director. Over the course of the next two seasons, Stage Door made the transition from a community theater group, to a fully professional company. During his tenure, Robert has introduced the Stage Door Canteen cabaret series and the theater program for children, Stage Door Jr. in addition to producing a six show main stage season. In 2005, Robert was hired as full-time Producing Artistic Director, and has brought Stage Door Players to a new level of recognition and brought new audiences to its doors.

Courtney Loner

Production Manager

Courtney is a graduate of Kennesaw State University where she studied Vocal Performance and Technical Theater. She has performed with many companies including Capitol City Opera, Neighborhood Playhouse, Onstage Atlanta, Stage Door Players, Savoyards Musical Theatre, and Cartersville Opera. Courtney has participated in vocal master-classes with such artists as Benton Hess, William Bolcom and Joan Morris and world-renowned mezzo-soprano, Frederica von Stade. In addition to performing, Courtney has stage managed, built and painted sets and propped shows at such theaters as Stage Door Players, Onstage Atlanta, Horizon Theatre, Santa Fe Opera, Alliance Theater, Georgia Shakespeare Theatre, and The Atlanta Opera.

After stage managing Stage Door’s 2002 production of I Hate Hamlet, she was offered the position of Production Manager. Courtney is proud to have been a part of the theater’s growth and prosperity.

Charles Welcome

Set Designer/Scenic Artist in Residence/Marketing

Chuck began his illustrious career at Stage Door Players in January 2003, as the Set Designer for Agatha Christies, The Mousetrap, and has been here ever since. In addition the being the Scenic Designer in residence in September of 2004, he began working as the theaters Marketing Director, to aid and support the efforts of recently hired Artistic Director, Robert Egizio.

Chuck has worked in theaters all over the Atlanta Metro area and his most recent works include the scenic design for the Southeast regional premiere of Ken Ludwig's new comedy Leading Ladies, as well as collaboration in conceiving an original holiday show Home for the Holidays, now in its third season! Currently working as Props Coordinator for the world professional premier of Disney's High School Musical, with Theater of the Stars. Chuck has a background in art, interior design and marketing, and his education in designing for the stage is an ongoing experience.

Dan Bauman

Sound Designer In Residence

Dan is a native New Yorker who came to Atlanta to attend The Atlanta Institute of Music in 1996. A bass player since the age of 14, Dan played with several groups around Atlanta while attending school. Upon graduation he immediately went out on the road with The Amazing Idiots, an 80’s show band who toured as far north as Princeton, New Jersey, and as far west as New Orleans, Louisiana. After leaving that band he played a gig with The Tim Acres band and never left. Changing the name to ACRES in 1999, the band continues to write and record music and has opened for such acts as Collective Soul, Jason Mraz, Pete Yorn, Tantric, Oleander, and Kansas.

In 2003, being a movie buff and self-professed sci-fi geek, Dan took a huge step out of his comfort zone to audition for a production The Rocky Horror Show. To his surprise he was offered the role of Riff Raff, and was introduced not only to the world of theatre, but to Robert, Linda, Chuck and Courtney. He was convinced to try his hand at Sound Design and again, never left. Dan handles all things audio for the theater which includes playing bass now and again.

Linda Uzelac

Music Director in Residence

Originally from New York, Linda has been resident Music Director for several production companies in New York and Connecticut for over 30 years. She has coordinated, accompanied, and orchestrated countless musical revues, cabarets, and major musical productions from community to off-Broadway. In addition to being Music Director in residence of Stage Door Players, she has directed and performed in such professional theaters as the Fox Theater of the Stars, Horizon Theatre, Actor's Express, Aurora, and Callaway Gardens.

In addition to numerous themes and supplemental songs for theatrical productions, Linda has composed twelve complete original scores (www.stagedoormusicals.com), all of which have been produced here and abroad. She has appeared as sole accompanist to dozens of renowned opera singers from Lincoln Center, and has been a solo concert performer as well. She has prepared soloists and choral groups from the Hartford Symphony to the Broadway stages. Linda was Music Director/Conductor/Pianist for the first in the series Broadway in the Burbs, starring Jodi Benson and other Broadway stars, and she has just completed the score for the film Valentine's Day, which premiered in Denver in September 2006. In addition to theatrical endeavors, Linda offers vocal coaching, notation and recording services in her home in Alpharetta.
